At Facebook’s F8 conference yesterday, founder Mark Zuckerberg was trying to convey his thoughts about Facebook Messenger: It is now the end-all-be-all of everyone’s existence. No, he really didn’t say that, but Zuck and company made it clear to attendees and the world-at-large, that Facebook no longer considers Messenger a simple app, it is now a platform.

So, what does that mean exactly? To start, apps should be written on top of it, users should use it to send cute stickers to friends, and businesses should use for customer support stuff. Something along those lines.
