User from HR emails this support ticket to the help desk, a pilot fish on the scene reports: “When I printer my documents nothing comes out.”

“We have a brief laugh at the wording and assign a junior tech to it,” says fish.

“The tech goes up to verify what’s going on, expecting that the printer is out of paper. It turns out the user has been ‘printering’ all his documents to another printer in the company. The tech sets the local printer as default and deletes the other printer.

“He closes the ticket with this note: ‘If you printer to a printer that isn’t yours, your printer will not print. You must print to your printer if you want your printout to come out of your printer.’
