Microsoft updates some Surface tablets ahead of Windows 10’s launch
Microsoft has pushed out a new firmware update for its Surface tablets that improves how the devices work with Windows 10.
The update, which first went out on Friday, includes a set of changes for the Surface Pro 2, Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3. Each model gets its own update with largely different content that only installs on devices running Windows 10. (That means people who are still using Windows 8 or 8.1 on their devices won’t get anything through Windows Update.)
