Apple Maps Flap: Police warn of Mildura maps mess

Although I certainly do remember Google Maps Navigation (and other GPS units) sending people up the garden path (and near un-driveable dirt tracks) at times after it first launched, I certainly don’t remember the police issuing a warning against its use, as has happened in the Australian state of Victoria with Apple’s iOS 6 maps.
