This warehouse needs to hire a new PC Technical Specialist, reports a pilot fish working there as email administrator.
“The local job boards were contacted, ads were placed, and my boss checked each day for the resumes to come in,” fish says.
“After a week, he confided to me that he had not seen any responses to the ads, and he wondered if something about what was in the ad was deterring people from applying.
“I reviewed the ad and didn’t see anything out of place.
“I then checked his email content filter log — and saw that a good number of emails had been rejected for content.
“The reason: Every reply for the specialist job included the word ‘specialist’ — which, without the first three letters and the last letter, included the name of a product that we were specifically filtering for.
