With Prime Now, Amazon’s customers will be able to have toys and books shipped to their door in one hour or less via a new mobile app. Perfect when you have forgotten that important birthday present.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Amazon is testing using bike messenger to make good on its 1-hour delivery promise.

Amazon launched Prime Now in select areas of Manhattan on Thursday, and the necessary Prime Now app is available for iOS and Android devices. Additional cities will be added next year, Amazon said without revealing any names.
